Wolf/Dog Facial Expressions + Tail stuff

So I stumbled upon this website located at Florida International University's Wolf Dog Behavior website.

This is pretty interesting in context with the previous post about facial micro expressions. For example the human emotion of contempt is literally a 'snarl'.
Funny... You almost wonder how well dogs are able to read our micro expressions and body language. They may literally be able to read it. It would make sense for how they seem to have empathy for their owners. Apparently at some level, alot of facial expressions are common across species... the funny one I think is Dolphins though... they are always smiling... however I think its because of the way their face is shaped. Perhaps that's why we like them so much?
